HeadTask — Privacy Policy

Application: HeadTask for iOS

Introduction

HeadTask ("the App") is an iPhone task-management app that puts the things you have to do in order and shows only the one to do now.

Through the App, the developer collects none of your personal information, none of the content of your tasks, and no usage data. Your tasks are stored only on your iPhone and in your own iCloud.

1. Information We Collect

None.

The developer does not collect or record any of the following:

The App has no account system and never asks you to sign in.

2. Network Communication

The App communicates over the network in only the following two ways.

The developer operates no servers, and no data is ever sent from the App to the developer.

3. Where Your Tasks Are Stored

The tasks you register are stored only on your iPhone and in your own iCloud. Deleting the App deletes the data on your iPhone. Data remaining in iCloud can be deleted from the iPhone's Settings app → your name → iCloud → Storage (or Manage Account Storage).

4. Your Voice and On-Device AI (all processed on your device)

5. Permissions the App Requests

The App requests only the following one permission.

Microphone access (NSMicrophoneUsageDescription)

Used so that you can register tasks by speaking, and operate the App by saying things such as "done" (終わった). Your voice is converted to text on the device and is not sent outside it. Even without microphone access, you can type instead and use the App in the same way.

Permissions the App does NOT request

The App does not request the following permissions:

6. Integration with Linear (optional)

Only if you enter a Linear API key in Settings does the App communicate with Linear (https://linear.app), as follows.

This communication takes place directly between the App and your own Linear workspace only, and does not pass through any server run by the developer. The content of tasks you create in the App (tasks not imported from Linear) is not sent to Linear. The API key you enter is stored in the iPhone Keychain (the system's secure storage for passwords and similar information). For how Linear handles information, please see Linear's privacy policy.

If you have not set up Linear, the App never communicates with Linear at all.

7. Settings and Records Stored in the App

The App stores the following only on your device (in iOS UserDefaults and the Keychain). They are never sent outside the device, and deleting the App deletes them.

8. Advertising, Analytics, and Third Parties

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at any particular age group. Because it collects no personal information from any user, it collects none from children either.

10. Your Rights

Because the developer neither collects nor holds personal data, the developer holds no data subject to access, correction, or deletion requests. You can erase the data on your device at any time by deleting the App, and the data in iCloud by following the steps in Section 3.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, for example because features are added to the App, this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date revised. Material changes in how data is handled will also be noted in the App's release notes.

12. Contact
